Bio

Allison Leroux is an Ontario-based fiddle player, dance caller, teacher, and cultural facilitator. Whether performing on stage, in the classroom/dance hall, or joining a late-night jam session, she is passionate about creating spaces where people can connect through music.

Allison has become an active presence in Canada’s traditional and country music communities. She performs regularly with a variety of artists and bands, plays at fiddle contests and festivals across the province and beyond, records calls and plays for community dances, and teaches students of all ages, having recently been nominated for a MARTY award.

She has been active as a fiddle player since 2019 drawing inspiration from her grandfather, who played traditional French-Canadian tunes on harmonica, among other musical family members, and is excited to continue and grow as a touring country fiddle player.
